March 14 , 2007 - Bears Are Virginia Bound

Ted Wolford's Golden Bears get a glimpse into the 2007 season when they depart for Charlottesville, Virginia during spring break for four games against stiff competition from four different states. "This will be our first go-round in pads against a real opponent,"
said 16-year head coach Ted Wolford. "This will be a fresh look for our players and coaches. We are all working on our games right now."

The Bears will play Collegiate School from Richmond, Mt. Hebron from Maryland, Montclain New Jersey and Penn Charter from Philadelphia. "All of our guys will play and this will give us a guage as to where our learning curve will be to start the season," according to Wolford. "Our veterans are carrying the load and the young pups are in a learning phase and working hard. It's a whole new level of intensity."
